But times it by 2 = £62.26 which sounds a little better! I cant believe we are now looking at such low rates I dread the santander drop.

Yes, as long as you have exhausted all the much better paying monthly accounts....then I guess this would be ok. It would be a last resort for me.

    Regular saver accounts
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/best-regular-savings-accounts
I know that you need to switch your account, (for HSBC, FD and M&S) but dont be put off by this.
Open an account at a local bank for example, and use this new account, as your switching account, then move that rather than your 'regular' current account.
You will not only get the switching bonus, but it also allows you to get these better regular saving accounts. A little bit of work, for a lot of reward. Believe me, it is addictive, as it is free/easy money.....you do end up running out of banks to switch to ...in the end :)

Bet Sal's wombles have been hit with the 1L Smirnoff and Bacardi at £15 in A:o

    I'm hoping it will compare T v A as I have a £3 off £20 to use tomorrow:)

So hopefully a litre bottle of Smirnoff Red and £5 worth of food for £17:)

Think I have done all the switching I can. OH still has co-op to do now they have finally paid my tcb.
Think I have done my homework. Haven't applied for HSBC as reading the thread on the banking forum a lot of people get turned down even some of what I think of as real savvy people! The santander money is the problem as it will only be paying just over l per cent when you factor in the £5.00 charge so these just over 2 pc reg sav are a better bet for me when my current reg savers run out.

Wasn't it Quiet Advisor mentioned about the deals in Lidl?

    Anyone had a look.
