Consider yourself lucky as that's better than any wins I've had for a while:(
Fair enough. I think I may check out My Local and see what I can find. Apparently there's two relatively near me (well within 30 minutes), so thank you to the OP for the heads up.
On a random note, my friend called me yesterday saying she had a spare ticket to the Crystal Maze experience for tonight and asked if I wanted it. May have shouted f'yes. May have :rotfl:'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
Nothing wrong with my joints Tinyshoes

Good Morning all
Really pleased you don't have any problems Emerald.
I think the consultant was trying to explain that I had degeneration you wouldn't expect to see in someone in there 30s. If you think it's now nearly 20 years on since diagnosis I wonder if now he would say they look like that of 80 year old. I think I'm just unlucky it's in the genes, inherited from all the females from my mum's side of family.. Have seen how bad it can get...but some of that was people giving up I'm determined to not let it stop me. A dear friend of my mum had OA lived until her early 90s yes it did stop her eventually but she kept going through the pain when she could. I had an aunt who gave up about your age Emerald very sad to see....

Yes my hubby's got rheumatoid arthritis and he s in pain all day long in lots of places. He just tries to ignore the pain but it can t be easy for anyone.0 -
Wow you did go for it.
By the time I cottoned on I only bought 6 with labels meaning to do a rinse and repeat but all the labelled ones were gone when I went back. I got 12 bottles for free though as they were 2 for £2 so I got 6 full fat and 6 zero.
We bought loads, but on one of DS2 trips into the store, he picked up bottles without a label on:eek::eek::eek:. It was a good job I was stripping a load of bottles in the car, as I may have cried. I then used them at Sainsbury, receive the BM which I got a set of pans with.
DS2 told me his friend is addicted to coke, so after a late night shopping trip we went to his house and covered his driveway in coke... we rang him and told him to go outside, he thought it was highly hilarious... I must try to post a picture of his driveway.queen_of_cheap wrote: »Morning all
Just a quick one - the manager in my my local yesterday told us that tomorrow, what's left will be down to 20p
ooh I need to go shopping as I feel like old mother hubbard. I am trying to get DS2 to come with me as I am having problems with me back.
Is the my local shops the same as Nisa? when I google them, Nisa pops up.
Any suggests on good offers from other stores?100 -

Morning
just thought I would pop on as I also have OA and also made worse by hypermobility (which has only just be diagnosed)....exercise is the key although I am not the best at it...I do try with a bit of pilates and plenty of stretching and the like.
I am in my mid fifities and already been offered joint replacement in a few but the scarring and the nerve damage was a big feature as I have lived with someone who had a lot of this surgery and saw the part that the surgeons dont see
My fitness has gone from 2 to 5 in three months just my keeping myself mobile and finding a pain releif that suits (mines Naproxen) good luck xxxxxx0
