I found Mr TS making meringues today, so we can have Eton mess for afters with our glut of strawberries. :D

Trouble is he didn't need to make any as I still have those 10p finest ones in the garage. I keep forgetting about them, I really must check whether they are ok, as think it was March I bought them. :o Wouldn't usually keep things like that out there it's only because kitchen was being done...

I am doubly impressed..... at Mr TS for making meringues, and at you for not eating the 10p ones... they would not last two minutes in my house!! x

When they were in the house I just kept helping myself to one or two. :o But once we had to empty the kitchen and they were put outside it was out of sight out of mind. They could be covered in mould for all I know as it's a sealed cardboard carton full of 6 packs. :o

Oh yes he likes to do a bit of beating by hand. :rotfl:

    Good (wet) evening everyone.
I am having to go and spend a few nights in Cambridge next week as my daughter is doing work experience at the science park and with it being over 100 miles from school we have to stay there.
My Nan is coming with me to keep me company as my daughter will be at work 9-4.
So I'll get to the point!
What is there that is cheap or free to do? My Nan is a young 70 yo and I have a nus card. Also is there anything to do in the evenings? Maybe a shopping centre as my daughter needs shoes for her speech day.
    Thank you in advance.
