I am still ploughing onwards but only through sheer dogged determination. My thinking is that there are so few other offers about - MOCs, try me frees, freebies etc - that if I keep using the card eventually something useful will appear.
I think I've had £2 off a bottle of wine and a discount for a Gastropud offer and that was all in how long is it - maybe over a year now. Best offer was buy a hot drink and get a free slice of cake so I just bought a tea for £1.90
and that is it but I live forever in hope.
OH has only recently got his card and he had a free drink on his card for the first 2 weeks - one every day - I think we managed to visit 8 marks over that fortnight, all trips out based around towns with a Marks caf! in
I've just noticed I have a free drink on mine too -- not very impressed as I don't tend to spend ages shopping. Mind you, if I can use it at Euston station, it might be worth doing! I use the card if I am in M&S but not there often and will only sign up for the Sparks offers if I think I might want them.0 -

Thank you queen of cheap. :A:A They arrived Monday.
Weekend of highs and lows.
Happy Birthday to pko4 and Naebbirac, you share the day with my DD2. So you are both very special.
She had a milestone birthday and her OH got her a (non discounted ) Mulberry bag and whipping her off to NY next week. I get the DGC :j:j:j
Was having a lovely weekend as DGC stayed Saturday. Sunday
Came home and she wanted a kick about in the garden with DS. They had good fun until he 'rolled' his foot. Unfortunately, it was his good foot (he has CP) and sprained it. A little while later, he was sitting down and said that he felt sick and went to go the toilet. Nearly made it but passed out, trying to grab the staircase newel post but missed and fell against the lounge panelled toughened glass panel, breaking it. Nightmare time keeping him away from the broken glass, whilst he was 'out of it' as his body kept moving. Managed it apart from lots of lacerations and bruising but as was told later that we were lucky that he was still alive. :j:jb It does make you realise how lucky you are.morning, DGD2 wanted to pick her dinner from the lottie. She had great fun picking (and eating) her peas, corn, carrots and raspberries.
Hope he recovers soon MKS x“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
M list is now more or less updated from Wednesday. I've put a Roaster at 50p onto the list some time ago. I am aware of a Roaster at 1p elsewhere but not seen anything that says that anyone successfully managed to purchase one at that price.
Of course I now have everything good on the list that M has haven't I?:rotfl:
I'm now trying to establish whether M has the Ambi Pur Refill Blossom & Breeze (A £4.00 and 2 for £5.00 which would be good if the mbuy became a no-show) - M clearly has a number on msm that I didn't get instore - I can't say that I checked at every store for additionals on this though as I thought I had enough of a range already but obviously not! - and I've added the ones on msm. I have Cherry Blossom and Botanic Breeze but no Blossom & Breeze but, given that I didn't have Apple Spice and that one is on msm, clearly I was missing some. I am not aware of seeing it - I did keep checking for the Cotton one until finally I scanned it and found that it is not on the offer (:rotfl:it is absent from msm as well - but, it's £4 and not £2). I've now added Blossom & Breeze onto my missing list for next time. They may not even have it.
I've already been looking for Border Biscuits - Yogurt Cranberry & Pumpkin Seed Crumbles - the only one in A that I haven't got in M - but to no avail.
Believe it or not, until this week I've actually not gone out much (as far as M is concerned) as I've been largely confined to my 'own' stores. I've not actually done a round trip for a while. So, I am hoping to do one tomorrow, all day, including new stores, and I may well be in an M near you! I'll have a look for the few items I have missing - and could do with finding again - and do a bit of a scattergun approach for further items and items I haven't seen before, so who knows what I will find. (Hopefully it will be fairly quick in each store as it's not an entire rechecking of the whole list.)
Goodnight - and, depending on whether my plan comes to fruition, I'll see you on Saturday!!:) I'm confined to the house again all weekend:rotfl::wave:.0 -

Morning
Heinz offer looks to be ending today, 5 for £3.00.
https://groceries.asda.com/promotion/2-for-pound350/ls87515
The Beans & Sausages, BBQ Beans, Curry Beans and Spaghetti Bolognese should compare to Waitrose offer 5 for £3.00, APG £5 v £3, c. 70p for 5 cans
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda/bundle/776320_1789946.html
The Regina Blitz Kitchen Towel is a good buy as £2.35 in Asda and currently £1.17 in Waities (on offer until 20 September).
Wouldn’t do too early a shop on these. Yesterday someone shopped at 5.15 am for the Gold Biscuits and Ambrosia but the APG was still recognising the multi offer on the result at 8.15 am.Thank you! So good to have an APG glitch to play with that I didn't miss.

Couldn't say it better myself. Thank you so much Izzey. I think this is the first time I have managed to get one of these glitches and I confess I don't really understand why/how this happens. This was my shop:

By the time I take off the other items (thank you, Bubbs, you are quite right that the SP stuff does not compare with W), I seem to have paid £1.63 for 10 tins of various Heinz stuff.
Izzey, you are a marvel. Thank you. I got a £4.37 APG.
I also did really well on the wombling stakes today -- haven't had one for ages but I picked up 5 receipts tonight and 3 paid out, coming to almost £7. They were all of the 'we were not 10% cheaper' variety so I presume it isn't worth posting the results?
Goodnight all. I've the day off tomorrow and am going to try and get the house a bit straighter!0 -
My wombles include 350g seriously strong mature cheddar and 4pts milk. Does anyone know how I can get the barcode please for Shoptz? I know there are ways...!!!0

Hiya
Almost got some Hip pouches at T today, good job I checked varieties and I had forgotten that it ran out yesterday
I actually found a womble at Asda when I called there for coke, 23p back on 'not 10% cheaper'. First for a while so mustn't grumble
I had little Millie back to vets today as he wants to see her weekly now, no seizures since last visit, actually about 10 days since last one, but he said that her heart murmur is getting worse and worse. We discussed options, but he said that any medication he might give her, like furosimide for fluid/cough, would also increase bllod flow, and that would be disasterous with her heart murmer, and bring on a heart attack. So he wants to see her again next Thursday and I just keep her on the cardisure which is keeping her alive and continue with 1/4 tablet Pexion for just 7 more days as we wean her off them. He asked me to be prepared and not leave it too late, so that she was suffering, so not looking forward to next week's appointmentMeanwhile, me and her shared a cake tonight, for a treat as I am spoiling her knowing I won't have her much longer

Weather was wonderful as expected for Spain. back to reality now. have not managed to catch up so unsure what I have missed. Hope everyone is well.
Tried to cheers on ipint yesterday but app has totally changed which is not goodI did well out of ipint so will miss it. Still have a couple of small vouchers to use and a free pack on the 4 pack reward to claim.
