I bought some fake stuff (not deliberately!) from eBay and reported the seller. They refunded the money and allowed me to keep the item. Don't know if Amazon is the same. I had a seller who went out of business and Amazon were not interested in the faulty goods I was sold. Wasn't happy...

Well, I have had a reply from Sandisk and they say the cards I bought are authentic SanDisk products, although not retail ones and that they are authentic OEM SDHC SanDisk memory cards.

this discussion about things going off is worrying. Eons ago there was an offer, buy a Boots botanics item and get a body cream free so you could buy the body scrubber mitts and get a massive body moisturiser glass jar for free (so long ago but I think that is how it worked)
I have a life time supply of mitts and I still have numerous glass jars. I am wondering about the contents of these jars now ...

My guess is that it would depend on whether they are sealed on not as most of them have a use-by indication after opening. S&G handcreams are not sealed.
