This is 2016
Have you encountered a temporal anomaly that has transported you to 2025?Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Just a quickie and not totally free but I noticed the large jar of scrumpy in morrisons has 1000 pots to be awarded with it and it is worth £1 on one of the snappy sites. So one large scrumpy j at full of cider for £1.05.
Thought it was a good price but not testing as don't drink the stuff. I was just collecting my carling.

1p item
Was in Wilkinson's today and overheard sales assistant saying Oven to tableware ceramic roaster dishes are scanning at 1p.
These Roasters are 35cm long and fluted on top.
Barcode 04147626
Says 'take it out and stick it on the table roaster' on the label inside the dish.
Sales assistant wouldn't sell me any, spoil sport0 -
Well it didn't cost me any extra as I already happened to be visiting Mr A earlier. So, thank you about the Gold bars. I have done a big price collection exercise earlier, which has failed to find everything:rotfl:. I think there's not much changed in M from Monday as that was the big change and things have bedded in now. Off the top of my head, I don't think anything has gone up in price in M on Wednesday. Instead, as usual, I have the "hundred" new items to add. I think some air freshener products have gone onto offer and there are some additional RTC appearing elsewhere in the stores and other items that I'm not aware of seeing before but just seem to appear from out of nowhere (maybe just bought in specially - some printer paper 500 sheets at £2). Plus the correction of a few errors from Monday:o:o:rotfl:. Or what I now think may have been errors - but maybe I was right before and am now going into error. I never know! I think the Goodfella's Little Fellas pizzas are still £1 after all. I reckon both of my two stores on Monday had full price showing, at least on some of them, in error. Also, be aware that I now have the Winalot Shapes, that are on offer until 25th September, displaying full price SELs in most of my stores. I went through several with that and only just found one that showed the offer. The Laughing Cow 140g dips have also gone to full price SEL in a couple of my stores, when the £1 offer has been extended which was revealed by one store.
As you know, I always blame the SELs - or otherwise there is some reason as to why an error occurred that a rechecking now carefully has uncovered. I think that Maybelline potential visible trigger (if anyone could find it) isn't sold by M at all. This is because these have been collected by the numbers assigned to each product, however although M has "42" it turns out to relate to something else. So, I now think I was wrong and gave misinformation on that. Nonetheless, if anyone looks carefully at what I actually said - namely "it seems that I have identified...". Technically I never said that I had, merely that it seemed I had. It did indeed seem like it at that time. It doesn't seem like it now though:rotfl:. So, my apologies, as it now turns out the information I had on Monday now seems to relate to something else. (I'm still never sure am I?:rotfl::rotfl:)
I now think I wrongly removed the Wyke Mature Cheddar from buy in M on Monday. I've been having stock in every store I've visited at full price (probably about 10 different stores since the start of last week). That is, until just now, when I've found just a single store that has stock at the offer price - so I've found 10 at £9.18/Kg and now just my final one at £5/Kg. Which is not a nearby store either and purely by chance that I ended up going to there yesterday. I think this product is continuously £5/Kg somewhere in M. Meaning that it is never continuously at that price in any one store but that it is continuously £5/Kg in some Ms which keep changing. And it's also continuously £9.18/Kg in any other M in which it is available (which again keep moving around as stock at each different price comes into and out of different stores). They are trying to confuse me and have me thinking it is £9.18/Kg in all their stores, but this is not the case and, ultimately, they have not succeeded!
Does anyone have the Lockerbie Cheddar at £5/Kg in their M? All the stores I am visiting so far that have it - and not all do - are now at £7/Kg for me. I've removed it from the list already as a result, and I also have the French Brie at that price as well now - is that just £7/Kg in the stores I've seen and available at £5/Kg in some M that I haven't visited?
And a different perspective reveals that the 4 pack Sweetcorn Cobettes in M are indeed 76p. The 2 pack are also at the same price. It was merely both of my two:( Ms on Monday that were unclear. Once again, I revise my view on things with different stores I visit.
We'll see what information my results finally give once I update the list again.
I'll be back later:wave:.0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »Quorn Meat Free Gammon Steak (4 per pack - 248g)£1.90 £1.30:eek: I suspect mbuy in A has finished so will not be as good. I think this may now start to become risky.
It's typical that I added this to my note on Monday, suggesting that I felt that that was the moment at which the price collectors may have lost the item from all of their stores. Because, right on cue:(, the item, now available to fewer people I suggest, potentially goes onto even cheaper price. Or at least I have the Quorn Turkey Steak now showing £1 RTC for me in one store and I suspect the other RTC items at £1.30 before, such as this one, may have done likewise. The best prices - available to fewer people again! Because they go onto those better prices after clearing completely out of probably most stores (of course I have to insert "probably" as I can't say for definite when only ever visiting a small sample of stores).0 -
Morning
Heinz offer looks to be ending today, 5 for £3.00.
https://groceries.asda.com/promotion/2-for-pound350/ls87515
The Beans & Sausages, BBQ Beans, Curry Beans and Spaghetti Bolognese should compare to Waitrose offer 5 for £3.00, APG £5 v £3, c. 70p for 5 cans
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda/bundle/776320_1789946.html
The Regina Blitz Kitchen Towel is a good buy as £2.35 in Asda and currently £1.17 in Waities (on offer until 20 September).
Wouldn’t do too early a shop on these. Yesterday someone shopped at 5.15 am for the Gold Biscuits and Ambrosia but the APG was still recognising the multi offer on the result at 8.15 am.0 -
