    Evening all

Boys have both settled well into the new school term. DS2 is still on part days at the moment so making the most of the tired afternoon cuddles. Today they were collected after their lunch at 1pm but they are full time from Friday.

I've been keeping myself busy. Had a productive couple of days getting the house and garden a bit sorted and starting the mammoth jobs list I wrote :) 3 wardrobes organised, clothes sorted for charity bag and I sold some of the boys old books on a FB selling site :) 1 freezer defrosted and ready for any deals now I'm back on board.

Squeezed a run in yesterday evening to counteract the tea and cake I had in the morning ;)

TCB and CoS claims all sorted :T:T

MSE site playing up for me lately... Lots of flashing white and black boxes over screen. Very annoying but I'm persevering...

Learnt a valuable lesson tonight. Had to throw a load of lovely Body shop body butter as smelt awful... Don't stash things for too long. Prob from 2012ish. Glad I smelt it. Would have been mortified if I'd given it as a gift! From now on I'm only buying things that are for specific people for specific occasions.
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥

I just had a £15 claim rejected from QC for car insurance I bought ages ago. Has anyone had this excuse before?

'We have received feedback from the insurer regarding your QC Compare Insurance purchase and I’m afraid that they have declined your quote on this occasion as the commission for the referral has been awarded to another party.'

I don't understand, I didn't have any other tabs open and went directly through them without deviating from the page. Cheeky gits!

Don't give up is my advice. Tonight my bank account has been credited with £157.75 from topscashback for a co-op account I opened in January. It was a glitch. I did not have to switch accounts, have any direct debits just pay in £800 a month which I did. The excuses they came up with for not paying me were unbelievable. I am very happy bunny tonight never thought I would get it.

£1 coupon in asda magazine for little dish meal which are often on the reduced counter in my store.

    Evening Peeps.

Mr T has sent me some £6 off £40 spend coupons, but I have noticed that they state on the back, not to be used for alcohol purchases!!
I was hoping to stock up on the 2 for £20 spirits and wondered if anyone knows if this is a new clause?
    tia

    off for a catch up.

I got lucky tonight as I bought 4 bottles of spirits plus a few quids worth of other shopping and used my £6 coupon as had not read the T&C as the sa didn't either so tills cannot distinguish :)
