Did you find anything good Izzey? I've also reordered couple things that were £4.79 and now £1.49 so will hopefully save myself over £6 if I remember to take first lot back. :money:

I bought one a couple of months ago and if it's the same one I would say that's a good price. Think I paid slightly more for mine. If you wait a bit longer till Argos have the offer on you ll get it for £5 less:)

Went to Boots for an eye check last night. Had not been intending to get new glasses there but (1) had not been impressed by the choice at ASDA when I looked and past experience tells me they fit them badly, (2) need them badly and (3) fell in love with a frame much against my better judgement. (I usually hate my glasses.) The cost was an eye-watering £300, which is why I had not intended to get them at Boots. I'd wombled a £20 off voucher and they disregarded the cost of the eye test but I was still horrified at the cost. Thought of you lot and what you'd say and asked for a discount. She looked hard at the screen and then went to talk to the manager who gave me a 10% discount. The voucher kicked in before the 10% but it still saved me £48. Am concentrating on that rather than on the cost of the glasses! I wear them all the time so do need a pair I am comfortable with. At least, that is what I am telling myself...0

My glasses is one thing I do not compromise on, and I wear varifocals  Just think of how much they will work out at per week over 2 yearsA lot of people spend more than that on Starbucks
That is how I rationalise mine away.
