Freecycle is a very strange place sometimes. Today I spotted a wanted advert for bed side light.
A chap wanted it for his daughter who had split up from her long term partner and had come back from New Zealand

I don't know why we needed to know the back story but now of course we want to know a lot more. For instance if she has come back from NZ I would imagine that she could not fit very much into her case so a bedside light would be the least of things she would need so I wonder why the bedside light is the most pressing item

it must have been a very serious and permeant split up to warrant getting an expensive flight from NZ and having to go and live with a parent - must have been quite sudden and unexpected as well as the parent was not ready for long term visitors, not even a bedside light

and then there is the other back story to the failed romance - how she ended up in NZ, what she was doing out there, was she studying or working, and why she had to come home ...:D
Would be a dream come true if my DD suddenly came home like that :o
However, have just read in the daily mail (online of course, you don't think I buy that paper do you lol) that air travel has never been cheaper from Oz. So hopefully will get more visits than the every 18 months shes been doing so far. :)
