    ;) I have magazines a plenty from Mum's Ts......

just need the HIPPs now to cater for friend's baby who will be moving to soft food when we go to Salou :)

They are ideal to take on holiday... in my day we used to take packets of rusks... lol!

and to think I was going to pop them in the cupboard for the kids to use on cereals... :D

Good evening I hope you have all enjoyed your day.
    From a womble dated today
    AVM
    1x McVitie's Jaffa Cakes Twin Pack (2X150G) £2.19 £1.00
    1x Robinsons Barley Water Lemon Squash (850ML) £1.99 £1.50
    1x Robinsons Barley Water Orange Squash (850ML) £1.99 £1.50
    2x ASDA Grower's Selection Galia Melon (EACH) £2.00 £1.42
1 Asda grower's Selection Large Punnet of Nectarines (EACH) £0.95 £0.68
    1x Cook Italian Italian Chopped Tomato (4X400G) £2.25 £2.00

    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Celery (EACH) £0.65 £0.54

2x Old El Paso Spice Mix for Chilli (39G) £1.76 £1.30

I don't even know what price the Nectarines are in M today. I suspect probably still 68p. I have occasional stores that still show 70-odd p price so make it more difficult for me. I can't remember if I had my main one of those today - I understood A Nectarines were 60p so had moved to more than 10% cheaper some time ago and thus I stopped getting details of the M price. I am never sure if the Nectarines will compare against the right item in M - they seem to go on and off and sometimes don't pick any M price up, because their system seems hopeless on fresh fruit & veg. and, like the peaches that compared against some higher priced flat peaches once:( and then went on and off something else.

I see that the large punnet in A is comparing though. I think this is technically a glitch. I bet the A punnet is quite a lot more than the amount in Ms! So, quick, go get it whilst it's comparing!:rotfl:

It does look like their system is hopeless:) and they've picked up the 'wrong' Nectarines - but who am I to say that? - and got the ones that are substantially cheaper. Watch those 60p ones that people usually buy:( compare against something way more than 68p!:(:( They do mix them up and I think it is so haphazard on items like this and goes on and off so much that it may not even work once today's information gets to the system. They could well have got it 'right' today and have N/A.

EDIT: M Nectarines 77p in M according to msm. The I suspect smaller packs that these large ones are currently comparing against. There may have been a price increase in M today (especially since any big 68p labels don't seem to have resonated with me today - I don't recall seeing any) so I'd say this is about to change up in price - or go N/A if they correct what seems to be their error (and they probably will). I can see the 60p Nectarines being currently N/A (I don't know if they are) but 77p from some time tomorrow:(.

:( full price for me tonight.

Well I think Chris beat me to it, I could only get 3 red cabbage, 3 onions, and one piccalilli. I was mainly after the girkins, as ran out of those today anyway, but not to be.

Cheers for the different pointers on CS/COS, I decided to use COS to get me up to the £20

I got there about ½8 Dave, loads of onions, cabbage and piccalilli. Not a gherkin on the shelf, but I did get the last two mixed pickle. I think there's quite a few use that store.

Asked SA to check stock, none out back, and not sure when it's due in. I'll go over tomorrow to check :)

I saw the empty mixed pickle tray. I checked the pallet ready at the end of the aisle ready to go out, but could see nothing in that. I thought I saw you for a split second, but knew it wasnt you as it was past your bedtime when I was there :p
Edit: only one piccalilli when I went, so must have been someone raiding inbetween me and you.
