Evening Elite :jscamps1966 wrote: »Afternoon peeps.
Did anyone sign up for the 4 weeks of dog food from purina the other week? If so, has anyone had a delivery yet?
No sign of it here either, and two friends haven't received their's yet either, that they didn't even know they orderedI did put a link on my FB account for lots of my doggie rescue friends though one reminded me in private message that Purina are one of the worst, along with Iams, for testing on animals

They sent him home with no painkillers at all this time, yet he had a massive bagful last time.
Voice rest for 24 hours, thats all they said.
Hope they got it all Sarah, but seems very odd sending him out with no pain killers

I am now imagining the Elite pantries and garden stores and garages having new shelves put in this week to take the 15 jars of various pickles (or 30 if they have multiple accounts
) all bought with various APGS - looking very homestyle
even if you are not keen on pickles these would be good for adding to food bank trolleys
Or even for Xmas hampersthat's my plan, I need to do 1 massive one and 5 smaller ones for a local charity so these will go nicely

Home alone for last time on a Monday as Bowls finishes tonight.
I have been told that Fourp will receive a 'reward/prize' tonight. I've told him to wear stretchy trousers - can't have him collecting a prize with trousers ripped from hem to 4rse:o

snap, I so look forward to your photos at Mum and Dad's, every one a gem, as it's such an interesting place :j
Glad you got your tooth sorted bubbs. I keep forgetting to get over to dentist to do a registration form to be taken on as NHS patient. I did call into my old NHS dentist last week to see if they could take me back on. They said that they are not taking NHS patients at moment and would not take me back on list as I had been on previously and missed appointment, last seen them late 2011. I explained that I had to cancel my last appointment in early 2012 due to husband being diagnosed with terminal cancer and I was caring for him and then dentists have been the last thing I have been thinking about, and I have just got round to it. So she said she would add me to waiting list but it would be in the New Year now they could see me
However I need an appointment before then so going to register at another surgery at other local town. I broke a tooth, literally down the middle so I have half a tooth. You can guess by now that I hate dentists and this break happened about 4 months ago and I have ignored it until now when it is just starting to ache a bit and effect how I eat. Problem is, that last appointment I did attend was to remove a tooth, and that tooth was next to my canine, and this broken one is the canine so will have quite a gap, and it will be able to be seen easilyI will have two front teeth, then one and then a two tooth gap
