It is worth it Westie are you with Denplan too?
We did think we had everything covered until Mr TS needed his crown.
But on the whole it has worked well for us.
I can't remember who it is with nowCan't put my hand on the paper work easily. But the dentist did a checkup and gives you the price band for the different covers. Think mine is something like £15 a month. Now, i've had trouble with my teeth ( years of anorexia didn't do them any favours
) They always seem to need something done
So for the cost of two check ups a year, one X-ray, and a scale polish and I break even more or less, so any other work that needs doing is not really coming out of my pocket. :money:
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Evening peeps.
Found loads of the ice cream I'm my C, all of them were soft, squeezed them and they felt like pots of yoghurt! Covered in ice crystals and the freezer had icicles hanging from the roof, all the surrounding ice creams were also soft. Told the sa that I thought they had problems with their freezers, purchased 2 no problems with the coupons, I have refrozen them but not sure if they are safe to eat!!?
Typical, as its not often as I find stock of free offers.curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -

I've seen it from both sides now. Back in 2000 many dentists in Shropshire stopped taking on NHS and went all-private, offering DenPlan where appropriate. So when I moved there, private seemed the only option and DenPlan wasn't possible due to a longterm misalignment that should have been corrected when I was young and wasn't. So for 12 yrs I paid for everything out of income and sometimes out of savings.
Moved here and it was easy to go NHS so I took the plunge. OK, so I don't get the wall murals or large-screen TV in the waiting area, the mags are a bit down-market and well-thumbed, the chairs aren't upholstered and there's no relaxing music played through expensive speakers.
But I still get seen on time, get great service from a friendly team, and I don't get offered Botox at every visit.
I still have to pay but it's a relief to know it's capped at 200-ish, unlike the £1k bill I once achieved in 12 months.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0
