    HOF
i dont know if its every store, but my hof is an outlet store.
i set up 3 lots of transactions. spending about 25p 25p and £1.80

to my surprise there was an extra discount today. so my 1st shop which should have been 25p after £5 mail coupon was actually showing as 80p still to spend (£4.20)
so the lovely sa said, "do you want me to put them through all together."
    ok.
to my surprise she done it and took off all 3 vouchers on the same transaction. leaving £1.26 to pay.
the figures ive stated are only estimates but i hope you get my drift.
sa dependant whether more than 1 coupon put through at a time.

managed to get 2 ice creams from the co op. thanks TM

    Good Afternoon

Rain stopped when it was time for mums :)
  • Good afternoon.

A sight to make us all weep - called in at a large Co-op 3.40pm, nipped to the rtc area only to find the last knot in the last semi-opaque binbag was being tied and so I watched the final bag being loaded into the cage. A cage full of rtcs, being wheeled out. Fruit, veg, salad, you name it, it was in there. Sigh.

What I couldn't get over was the sheer volume involved. Why not sell it all at 10p from 2pm?

How have you missed the bananas please? I clicked on it earlier and it says I have until 7th September to upload a receipt (email just came through - receipt has to be dated 3/9 to 7/9). Or had you claimed a different offer today?

    Thanks

    Anon

I can only see the banana offer and the Carling one

    Good Afternoon all

If you haven't already bought it Arthien I would think twice.

I'm pleased I didn't do a Morries and buy a dozen papers. There was no clearance items in my HoF and it was a struggle to find anything at all around the fiver mark. It was just by luck I found a candle and a pair of socks which I think might have been left lying around by another elite:rotfl: I walked around for ages just trying to spend 2 vouchers and if I'd had more vouchers I would have given up.

The sat nav said 7 miles to the nearest Oppo stockist so I didn't bother. Life is too short......besides it sets my teeth on edge:rotfl:

Thanks for the warning. Guest has pre-paid Mail so I had two vouchers. Then we went out for lunch to a place which provides five sets of papers for customers. Slightly guilty that I took two more vouchers! Toiletries or chocolate perhaps?

Thank you to you all who have been asking about me and how I am. Sending your good wishes and hoping I get well soon. It is at this point I feel I owe you all a full explanation of what has happened to date. So here goes :o

As some of you know I suffer from multi joint osteoarthritis and have done since approx 1982  as the years have moved on so has the amount of pain I suffer on a daily basis. It never completely goes, it's there all day everyday and certain foods or weather makes it flare up badly. There again a few of you know this as you're sufferers yourselves.

Over 18 months ago I had a full knee replacement. This was a biggie for me but everything is as should be there. Sad part is sleep or rather lack of arises then can come low moods or slight depression.

Anyway, I am taking a cocktail of medication, from slow release morphine capsules, duloxetine, and a few others. Over 2 years ago my doctor put me onto Gabapentin. Once the side effects of sleepiness past all seemed well. My dose was 1 at tea time and 2 at bedtime.

So, for over a month now I've felt not 100% and my lower legs and feet have been swollen up from when I wake, and over night. In other words 24 hours a day. My doctor then decided I should have an extra Gabapentin, taken in the morning. There again side effects of me falling asleep half hour after getting out of bed!

I've put up with this then decided to stop taking Gabapentin. Infact I did tell a fair friend of mine that's what I was going to do. Now for some reason after a couple of days I just thought to myself, 'right stop them completely' Worse thing I could ever have done.

My doctor had to be called out due to the condition I was in. Trembling, headache, hit, cold, stomache cramps. All part of withdrawal symptoms it seems. I had no idea that I had become so dependant on these tablets.

my doc has made me go back on 3 tablets a day for a few days before I reduce to 2 a day and so on. I am also to go for a review of my meds after I've reduced again or earlier if I'm having problems.

Sorry for the length of this, it wasn't meant to be a preface to my autobiography :rotfl:

So sorry to hear this. Take care of yourself.

Went to local H&B store to get some Oppo (thanks Westie) . Only had one tub in stock
Tried to look on Oppo store website, for where else might have in stock locally and even though I put my postcode in the search it keeps showing another town
Will just have to try random co ops I guess

I had that problem. Put town, not postcode; that worked for me.

I got some oppo at wholefoods but the sa reduced the price to 0 rather than apply a moc so no good for shopmium. Oh well, i'm sure free ice cream tastes almost as good as profitable ice cream

(Or does it? I'm not seeing great reviews)
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
