.I have I think managed to leave my CC in M on a rare visit there on Tuesday...so need to go and see if they still have it.TrulyMadly wrote: »I thought I'd lost my credit card before my holidays LEJC. I also drove home from work and couldn't remember the journey at all:o
I'm a bit absent minded and this is the sort of thing I would doBut since most stores I use now are contactless I don't even have to get the card out of the wallet :j:j much quicker and less stress
Ordered 2 of something from eBay but 6 arrived  Contacted the seller and they said it was a glitch in the system and they would eventually get round to fixing it. Thanked me for informing them and to keep the extra:D
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Are you watching the bake off? I know it's early days but the contestants don't seem as competent as usual:o
Haven't watched it yet. To be honest I may wait until half way through and binge watch them. I'm enjoying not baking much at the moment and I know as soon as I watch it, I'll want to bake EVERYTHING :rotfl:'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

Where an item is unavailable and you have indicated that you will accept substitutions, an alternative will be supplied that may affect the price that you pay. If we substitute an item with a more expensive one, you’ll only pay the lower of the two prices (if the item we are substituting was of a fixed weight and therefore has a known price).
I had 4 items substituted for things that weren't in my picks so the 20% didn't come off, so ended up paying £4 more than I should have.
Although they substituted Rump steak instead of chopped braising steak so not too bad I suppose. Didn't really need any more rump tho as I got £40 worth from Morries :eek:0 -

No chance
But there is no way I'm going to be able to find 30 things to sell, think I have 7. I just don't have a lot of stuff:D
I'm going for a few quality items, where as yours will be lots of rubbish

I read this while I was in town mhoc, just after I had been to Nationwide to transfer some money, I didn't actually go in as the queues were huge so just went to the cash point instead and will do transfer another day.
I looked at my mini statement while in the coffee shop and there should have been loads of bills come out today and nothing, last transaction was yesterday. I did draw out cash after but sort of glad I decided against the transfer if there were problems today, would not want it getting lost in the ether. :rotfl:
Apparently they have until 5 to fix things which is good but not for people at work who cant use their phones to check the app
- oddly our joint current account seems OK now with all the usual bills going out but that was updated around 11. I then checked after lunch and my own account had updated - 3 lots going to various monthly savers. Eldest son is also nationwide and his 2 DDs and SOs have not shown yet.
I set up two of Tesco monthly savers last month and I can see the £1s have gone in but not out of nationwide yet ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Serendipitious wrote: »BM order arrived. Top is going back - cheap thin fabric and basically a batwing style top with sleeve extensions which have been added on separately which twist, so very baggy in the body and will cause continual adjusting of sleeves during wear, so no good, have done them a review....
Brollies and scarf are lovely however, and a real bargain.
ETA Just discovered the customer has to pay return postage :eek: but after a little think I've decided it is actually worth 2.85 not to have to trail into town...:o:o I think you ordered the same top as me.
A large square with a 2 inch sleeve attached either side:o
Plus the Kipling I purchased 'new' from eBay is definitely not newOur Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...
