Sounds great MKS.....I'm no culinary star by any means .......my repertoire is mainly traditional meat and veg, although I like to experiment:)

Had a fabulous piece of pork today with home made stuffing, leeks in mustard sauce, potatoes and peas from the garden. The sweet potatoes were fillers from A. The gravy was delicious and the yorkshires were almost yellow from the hens eggs. I'm blessed:)

Sounds lovely. Can't beat homegrown veg, can you? Lottie has been very prolific this year. Freezers filled and carrier bags full of beans, beetroot, tomatoes, cucumbers and squashes going to staff at Dad's care home.

    M Wine Glasses - Blue (2 pack)£1.00
    M Wine Glasses - Lime (2 pack)50p
M Wine Glasses - Pink (2 pack)£1.00 Watch these all go down further in price later:rotfl:.

    :rotfl:

I think these have, indeed, gone down in price. I have the Lime version now (Wednesday) in one of my stores at 50p. I imagine this means the other two colours have gone down too - they weren't in evidence in any of my stores (I didn't check very many stores). I will reorder them on the list and delete the note as that's no longer needed.

The supermarkets - they are so predictable:rotfl:.

(In fact, I think they will be predictable, to some degree, as they base everything they do, and the prices they set, on that consumer market research that I mentioned earlier - they also watch competitor prices very closely and it is very scientific: so that, if we know how the general public psychologically behaves, I bet we can use that to predict, with some accuracy, what a supermarket will do. Or something like that! I'm just pretending to be expert. On this occasion, I simply 'knew' that £1 was too expensive:rotfl:.)

I'm posting about most of the more irrelevant, or obscure, things - most of the good prices of offers are the items I don't mention at all but which appear on the list! It's not fully updated yet though - it's proving to be a very long job (but then I am doing it on and off) to update all of the changes from last week to Wednesday and :doh:it will probably be updated to the current prices after those prices have expired.

I'm inconsistent too. I have just put a Colgate Max One toothbrush on there at £2. However, I note that it has been at £2 for some periods, some of them shorter, some of them longer, over the last twelve months (according to the price graph on msm), so it should have been on and off the list throughout the whole year. I think it's because I started putting some other toothbrushes at £2 on there over the last few weeks, that are now off and I've deleted those, but now seen this Max One at the same price so have now put it onto the list. It's also because I am human - I work with the inconsistency of a human being and, whilst trying to be consistent with my putting the other (now expired) ones on there at £2 in the last few weeks, I haven't always noticed the Max One at £2 each time, sometimes I have a change of mind and decide to put things that weren't previously seen as good onto the list or, maybe, now, this one is there 'just for information' and it's there now as I've decided to include it on the list for that reason and not because it's good.
