    You're up late tweets :)

Well done scamps, nice win, I think I would like to be one of your dogs tonight, I would love a Chinese ;)

Thanks for the congratulations for ds he is over the moon, he was quite worried as there was a lot going on at the times he was sitting exams X

Rhosy I'm sure things will work out for your ds, things have a way of turning out just the way you want even when you didn't know that was what you wanted X

LS I'm sorry to hear your son is struggling, you would have thought college would intervene somehow X
Thank you. I guess as its "the rules" its hard for them to do anything about it.

Would a couple of sessions with a tutor help? Can he ask for the marked paper to be returned? Worth it to see what areas he is losing marks on. Also consider changing boards as some boards can suit one student more than another.
I think with his dyslexia it would be much more than a couple of sessions he would need. He was getting a one to one session with a dyslexia tutor at college every fortnight, which turned into weekly before the exam. Good idea about changing boards, I can get him to ask the dyslexia tutor.

How about a re-mark? Is he close enough to the C boundary? DS gained 3 marks on his remark for a GCSE. Small cost, not much to lose, much to gain.
He wasn't that close, he got 97 and needed 108 for a C unfortunately.

  • Hello from Our hols!:wave:

Just popping in to say .......

Thank you to those of you who recommended Sketchers for long days of sightseeing. We have walked miles pounding the streets of New York and Washington. I could not have done it without them!

Also, thank you to all who suggested the magnesium spray for achy joints. I have been spraying the dodgy knee morning and night. I have been able to get up and down the Subway steps and even the Lincoln Memorial!

    You are wonderful!
