Thanks. The only think I have not yet looked at is the car insurance. Can you recommend one please.

I've used insurance4carhire.com (go thro' quidco for 25% cb) for years. Haven't checked if any cheaper :o (totally satisfied with the service that I get from the company) but have a worldwide policy that is used several times a year and recommend.

Samsung Galaxy Core. Reluctant to force an unlock as 2 years warranty.

You may want to check further but I don't believe an unlock affects the warranty, as it is not damaging or physically altering the phone just removing a network lock.

I was actually told in an email by Samsung that unlocks can affect the warranty. To be honest I don't intend to turn the data on, have never felt the need for more than wifi as there is wifi all around the two towns I normally go to. I will see how it goes, not likely to be able to get Vodafone to unlock the phone any time soon, especially as I don't even have a number with them. And I have got really good coverage with them.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)
