Weetabix 24 pack banana, chocolate and golden syrup, £2.68 each or 2 for £4.00 looks to be ending today and should glitch.
https://groceries.asda.com/promotion/2-for-400/ls87511
Should compare to either Sainsbury’s or Morrisons at £2.00 each. £5.36 v £4.00.
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=weetabix%2024
And the sums
£5.36 v £4.00, APG £1.76, so £1.12 each, I had help from a trusted source
I had a much higher price showing in the M where I noticed these on Monday:rotfl:. And they are not on mbuy anymore in M. I can't see why the Hellmann's (M at £2) would not work. Weetabix flavours should pick up £2 for M if the price in M on Monday was £2 and if Ms generally are showing that. Just that I saw they weren't on 2 for £3 anymore but were higher and I left it at that, having seen a store that may have had an incorrect price:rotfl:.0 -
The random swaps on the Walkers promotion originally excluded the letters C, D and K and, as at least one of these was required for each destination, you stood no chance of winning. Ruling from the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) today. Fwiw, as nothing happens as a result - just the publication of the adjudication!:(
There were 628 of those letters issued, out of millions of codes from millions of packs. So, frankly, you probably stood more chance of finding an RTC item in M five years on from its start:rotfl:.
https://www.asa.org.uk/Rulings/Adjudications/2016/8/Walkers-Snacks-Ltd/SHP_ADJ_340578.aspx
Walkers amended the random swaps to include the missing letters before the promotion ended. The ad must not appear in its original form. Which it won't as the promotion has ended:wall:.0 -

Morning all
Had a receipt to submit to COS and shopimum yesterday. Unfortunately, had spilled some water on it and it smudged in places. After cursing and swearing etc, dried it off and submitted the receipt. Am really surprised was accepted by both. Other times, I submit a perfectly clean uncreased receipt and have to resubmit a few times. Baffling
Anyone know if the minion toothbrushes work on a c & c? As could do this for COS isn't it?
tia
Cursing and swearing? That suggests a difference between the two? And, just wondering about what the "etc." was that went on:D:rotfl::rotfl::T:rotfl:.
It's the uncreased receipts that are the problem - just like my low value APGs are the ones they always reject:rotfl:.0 -
I don't think it's good developing a "great" relationship with any brand. Sometimes brands mislead you by producing misleading advertising. And they rip you off for loyalty. It's therefore far better to be as disloyal as possible, buy whatever they aren't promoting and avoid getting heavily involved with any of them as much as you can. Also you often pay over the odds (unless there is a glitch:D) as own labels are often the same ingredients but much cheaper. However, they are 'brands' in their own way as they are for a target market too. Everything is! So, for me, a "great" relationship with a brand (yuck:rotfl:) would be one in which I ditched them when it suited me and moved around as much as possible to get the cheapest loss leaders from each supplier (or better the loss leader prices of a competitor) before moving on to another supplier rather than overpaying for loyalty. They know most people are inert and they've no duty to do anything to make it otherwise - it's in their interests to increase the costs as it makes them more money (the reason for their existence). However, if they did have to get people to move or switch to a cheaper deal (it's certainly not in their interests for people to pay them less or to move to a competitor except that they may want to lose customers that lose them money), they would then simply spread the extra costs more widely and evenly so those that currently pay less, by taking advantage of the competition (where it exists!), such as ourselves hopefully most of the time, would then pay more.
:eek:I must go out to M! See you later, much later!:):wave: (Supposed to be going 'out and about' again today - I might just make it - I managed it on Saturday despite starting at midday.)0 -
