Went shopping in Toxteth once when DS was a uni - the trolleys had 8 foot metal posts welded to the sides so that you couldn't take them out of the shop.
If you wanted a 4 pack of beer you had to go to a 'bank type counter' put your money on the tray and then they passed the beer back through!

(I so wanted to bring him back home)

Only £1 in Sainsburgs, so you never know.

No, it's always the 500g or 1Kg that they buy, whenever A is much cheaper than 'full price' and, when that happens, they're usually at full price elsewhere. Although on this occasion it's given 20p. (Or given nothing at all as more than 20p has been taken away by higher priced S items on the same shop and something else given the APG to 80p:rotfl:.)

I am so pleased for Bryony. :T. Dd2s claim to fame she competed first against her when she was 7  Bryony is a bit older than DD2. It is just such a fantastic result and for Kat too. 2 women in the final was just wow :D
Was fantastic, I thought of you when I was watching TS! I also welled up a little when bryony started crying, she was so full of emotion bless her.

Savvy I have reached the conclusion that we will never get these A shoppers trained:rotfl:

I just need some that are silly and buy things at high prices.

And not things like the Gu Praline Tarts:rotfl::rotfl:. Buying a wrong Gu item, too late, and then buying it in Mr A of all places:laugh:.
