Still better than what you called her the other night

One for the bakers 500g white fondant icing:
    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=250535664

I found this in my local Express reduced to 74p, along with some Bisto turkey gravy granules reduced to 34p, loads of cake angels sprinkles reduced from £2.50 to £1.14 (the ones with 4 different sections of sprinkles) and strong bread flour (1kg) reduced to 60p.

Hope it's useful to someone :)

I hate it when my computer updates, I can never find anything!!
I have lost a couple of spreadsheets on Microsoft excel and can't for the life of me locate them.

I go onto the start menu, find Microsoft excel, but not all the files I want are displayed, and I have no idea how to find the rest.
If anyone can help, please make it simple.
    I have windows 10.
    thanks. xx

:hello: Well, I've tried my best:). It seems to me now that it was inevitable that I would not find the 'new' items (which have probably been on offer for ages:rotfl:) that going out to the other store last Wednesday was aimed at capturing. Many of them are not a problem as I took offer end dates - however on a small number this was not possible as none was displayed. So, I will have to fudge some of them or make my best guesses that will probably later turn out to be wrong:rotfl:.

M have made some changes today and there are more than I was thinking there would be. It'll take some time to sort them out and I can't really mention much of what I think has changed and what I think has not - I am always bound to forget something when I pick them out but the 500ml alcohol bottles have totally changed around I think (I had one of last week's offer items scanned at the till and it was now full price, so I'll ignore the later store that was still showing £1 price), the White Baguette price has now moved in M onto the Tiger Baguette, and frozen food items such as Bernard Matthews Turkey Dinosaurs/Drummers/Burgers going back onto £1 not long after they came off and the Youngs Gastro fish (such as M stock) back at £2 in M again. So, on some items it is all change.

Birds Eye Breaded Chicken Dippers 24 pack have gone onto £1 RTC (best of luck in finding any of those), although we had 24 packs in T earlier at 81p and A and, I was told, S at 50p.

I am now thinking that Mazola Corn Oil has gone onto RTC in M. (Does anyone else know more than me - it will be much clearer in someone's store I feel! - as I'm having to do implication again in the stores I've visited.) It has mysteriously disappeared from the shelves in all the stores I've been in today (as well as the other ones last Wednesday), although I have seen no stock and no SEL today (and didn't have any, really, on Wednesday) so I don't know at what price. I did have a store-specific reduction - I think it was £1.20 - :(, I would have hoped it had gone down more than that - in one store (RTC shelf) on Wednesday but I don't know whether it's generally at that price. This went down to £1 offer in A which was several years ago anyway, so it hardly seems worth it. I don't see this item comparing on the APG anymore as it seems to have disappeared from the shelves in M - I have now had no trace in 9 stores and just stock on the RTC shelf in one - no SELs anywhere. So, in theory, not that you'd want £1.20 whatever:rotfl:, it's now a buy in M. If you can find it anywhere at all:rotfl::rotfl:.

    And what about this item?

Birds Eye Steamfresh Pesto Vegetable Penne Pasta (350g)

I'm told today that it is 34p in M:D.

If anyone was extremely attentive indeed (and I doubt many people would have been), you'd have noticed that this item was originally on my list, as part of three different Steamfresh pasta products I had for M at £1. However, the above one - I suspect it would have looked like it - "mysteriously":D vanished from my list about a week or two ago. So why did this happen?

I originally had taken all three down and thought each of them was £1 in M. However, I later had my doubt about the above Pesto Vegetable version as I then thought it was just the Mediterreanean Vegetable and the Creamy Cheese pastas as I had SELs for those two at £1 in my Ms. I doubted myself over whether I had been right to have the Pesto Vegetable at £1 and thought I'd got it mixed up with the Mediterreanean Vegetable. (They may have just changed SELs in my stores to confuse me.)

I had SELs - or now had them - for the Mediterranean Vegetable (although the description was not totally clear for me as to whether it included Pesto Vegetable or not) and the Creamy Cheese in my Ms. I had no SEL for the Pesto Vegetable - at least not one specifically mentioning Pesto, instead it seemed to be Mediterreanean Vegetable. At this point - about two weeks ago - I had stock of Pesto Vegetable in one of my Ms. I picked it up and put it back into the freezer, intending to go and check its price at the till, whilst I literally went round the rest of the aisle to get the prices that were showing. I returned and found that a customer had taken it in the few minutes I'd been elsewhere:(. It had been the only item of stock - so, that was that, I was unable to check it was £1. As I thought it might be full price - or at least had my doubt about whether it was £1 or not - and as I'd seen no SEL anywhere for it, I fudged the matter by quietly losing it from my list:(:(. (:rotfl:)

The problem is this seemed to be the last unit of stock and the product was nowhere to be seen in any of my other local Ms - or indeed at the one where I'd seen but just missed out on being able to get the price of the only unit of stock they'd been. So, I've had it missing for a number of collections in a row. I went through 6 stores on Wednesday (not my normal Ms, if there is any such thing nowadays:rotfl:) and found no stock of it in any of them. Of course, no SELs for it either. I thought I had it in one of them and took it to the till, but it turned out to be the Med. Veg:(.

    However...
I have now found it:j* - again, it seems, a single item of stock! - in my other M from the one where I'd lost it before. With only £1 SELs for the other two and nothing again for this one, I wondered whether it was £1 or whether it was full price. I took it to the till and I've been told that it is returning at 34p:rotfl:.

I think this is unlikely to work on the APG (even though it will be this week's "silly item" to be added to Avs M:rotfl::rotfl:) - apart from not finding it in many stores, I've seen no SELs for it anywhere and certainly not seen anything saying 34p. So, I think it is a "buy in M" - if you have the luck of being able to find it in your M(s).

Elsewhere, I've tried but failed - or else now go to msm/m.com to try to sort out a few items - as just be aware this is another Monday changeover again where things in M are in a bit of chaos until they settle down and one of my stores has gone to full price SELs on a number of items even though I have them still showing the offer as on for some time yet in another store. Indeed, some occasions today, I have 2 stores against 1 and I think the one store is more likely to be correct. So, it is a bit of an "incorrect SEL price in M" situation today that could mess with the APG on a small number of items. I would have liked "confirmation" on some apparent price changes, but unfortunately neither of my other stores had any trace at all. So, it's possible I'll be crossing some things off - they are of course not showing online - that look like they are full price on the SEL in my store but it's possible they are still on offer - until I can catch up with them again. I have the feeling that I have missed some items today but this will need to be sorted out when I can catch them on Wednesday - so, some offers might not immediately go onto the list if that's the case - I certainly had my final store reveal to me some new offers that the others weren't yet showing and I don't think I've caught everything there. It's just an impression I'm left with tonight.

I thought, until a moment ago, I'd failed on the Joe and Seph's sauces - not that you'd want those:rotfl: - that are on £2.03 "RTC" in M (along with the baking products). I had Salted Caramel - it seems a single unit of stock - in one M but with no SEL. The others are showing £2.03 so I wondered whether that one was £2.03. I was hoping to come across the product again later. Sadly it was not in my second store:( (but then I would not have expected it to be in that store - I've had to change my plans today due to roadworks at one stage) and my third store had a SEL for it, but no product, and it's showing full price. Of course I still didn't believe that - as I have other ranges elsewhere showing partially changed SELs but the full range is in fact on offer so it's made me wonder whether it is in fact full price but :(sadly my third store didn't have any stock. However, I haven't failed, in the event, as I now see, unexpectedly, it is on msm and it is showing full price on there. So, I've not missed something on the lower price at all. So, all is well and hopefully I have got the range that are £2.03:rotfl::(:D. Self-congratulations at a successful price collection in the end:T:rotfl::D:p:rotfl::rotfl::cool:.

Finally, Wyke Mature Cheddar is a "check the price of what you are buying carefully" again, as there is some older (or newer?) stock still around at £5/Kg in some Ms but in other Ms the stock and price is £9.18/Kg. Bit of a difference:rotfl:. Although I have this as £5/Kg last week, and therefore it seems 'older' stock is continuing at that price, where that stock still exists, in some Ms today, I don't know whether it is older or newer stock at all! Expiry date on the £9.18/Kg stock for me is 19 August, but I have the £5/Kg stock, in another store, at expiry date 20 August, which would suggest the cheaper price is newer stock not older:rotfl:. Yet the cheaper price was 'last week' and therefore it's (seemingly) "gone up" to £9.18/Kg in some Ms now. You'd maybe expect older stock at £5/Kg to be around in some stores only - yet the £5/Kg stock for me has a longer date (than the £9.18/Kg stock in another M that appears to be 'new' - or maybe it's old?).

I think they probably produce stock at £5/Kg and stock at £9.18/Kg at the same time (the difference of one day on the use by/BB is immaterial) and then deliver stock of one price to some stores and stock of the other price to other stores. Probably a cynical attempt to ensure that, at every store, people pay full price on at least something!:rotfl::( (They think we don't realise...:rotfl::rotfl:)

No doubt the Steak Burgers are (on a different BC) £1.50 for 2 and 75p for one in some stores but definitely £1 and 50p in others as I've seen one such store today! Sometimes you can find (as I have, in the past, indeed found!) stores a couple of miles away from each other and different stock in each one!

*I didn't actually jump up and down, it was more of an anti-climax when I saw it in the event.
