    :j:j I'm back in business :)

Laptop yetester day just ground to halt so restarted it only it it wouldn't let me back in :( Put password in but it kept suggesting it was wrong  laptop is probably cleverer than me but not in this instance. Over 2 hrs on the phone to apple today and still couldn't get round it. In the end I had to wipe everything and start from scratch, nearly 4 and half hrs to download the OS :(:(

The decision to wipe everything was an easy one because everything except one folder was backed up on two external hard drives  Please folks anything that you treasure on your computer back it up, one copy but preferably two as you never know when things might go tits up.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Well the Vicar & I have stood in the baking sun for 2 hours waiting for this invisible load wind turbine thingy to go through town...

and with a flurry of Police motor bikes it sailed through :)

I'm sure that was parked in a lay-by with escort on my way to Chirk Castle, it was parked up before Wrexham. The traffic was queuing on the 483 at the roundabout joining the A5 and was still queuing 3 hours later, possible crash as well.

I've had a long while ago 2 hard drives go into meltdown and lost everything - lesson learnt so now everything is saved in multiple places as well as externally
I've got roboform everywhere and save everything there as well as on the main computer.
I also email my excel files to myself at the end of each day to both the main computer and the iPad/iPhone address
my iPad photos are saved on the main computer as well as the iCloud and my camera roll is on photo bucket and pic collage
