We are getting a new puppy on 20th August and we are trying to think of a Welsh girls name preferably 1 syllable or can be shortened to 1 syllable. Not Gwen as we have a Gwen.
I haven't told any of you but my MIL accidently ran over Jess or puppy
I always liked Nerys - from the Liver Birds and also eldest sons GFs flat mate is also a Nerys
but its 2 syllables
loving all the melodic welsh names“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Did anyone pop in a Co op today to see if they had RTC toiletries like my local did? Wondering when they might reduce further, I only got one of the Dove stick deos 75p for DD2 she prefers them but if they were bit cheaper I would have got a few more.0

Oh TM I have to admit because I didn't have my glasses on last night I thought you said was I "in a field" not "in the field" thought you meant a green grassy one not the kind of one you report back from. :rotfl:
Trying to think how long that frozen deal lasted for before things stopped comparing, don't think we should rely it will continue until the offers end in Morries.0 -

has anyone had problems using the mymail A2 milk MOc in Sainsbobs?
Are they even valid in Sainsbobs??.
I only had 2 items today so I went through SS and we had to try 4 tills to find one in working order, no idea what the problem was.
and then my milk MOC would not scan, said not allowed as its for £1.39 and the milk is £1.35
so I was sent to CS who were equally useless, they said it was for a different size bottle - it does not say 4 pint on the MOc??.
so I just said I give up and left
on the shelves in our store around the handles of the milk were squares of paper with a try me free offer and a barcode on which to me looks like £1.39 as well - I tried this first and they would not scan either
is it just me with a difficult store -
Tommorow I am going to closely examine both MOCs wording and what it actually says, if there are 2 sizes and who makes a2 milk so I can email or message them
I've got a local MOC friend who us about to produce baby number 4 so if the MOcs worked I would just give her the ones I found on the shelves - not sure what the expiry date is yet“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Has anyone got this maxi dress from Argoose. Please could they tell me is it really long?
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4556732.htm
They have it in my size near the JL I am going to this afternoon.
I ordered one (thanks TM), but couldn't get it over my head! Looked for a zip or something to open it up, nothing - it was minuscule :rotfl:

He's doing ok, thank you for asking. Still crated and been such a good boy bless him. We carry his cage out into the garden in the morning and put him under the big wooden gazebo to give him a change of scenery and some fresh air. He's settled into it very well, his next check up is on wed and we can see about letting him have low level exercise in one room and move on from thereThe toothpaste has been there on the app for weeks (if not months)
I've never found it yet though. I thought i found it one time but it was the wrong flavour. Luckily i used their eligibility checker before paying
Trust me to have missed that. Says my local s'drug is a stockist so will have a look:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -
I've just seen on our Freecycle group someone offering up their light bulb collection and it got me thinking
we also have a basket of light bulbs on top of the kitchen cabinets, very rarely now brought down as bulbs now last years rather than months.
I think I need to bring it down to investigate what bulbs are actually in it and then label them up with what rooms use what bulbs. We have not changed light fittings in years so all the bulbs must belong to a current light fitting
but anything else, the random older bulbs - well I dont suppose these are easy to pass along or freecycle - a bit like old VHS tapes“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Does anyone remember me posting about the light fittings in Wixxes last week? Collected some more yesterday - the Jazz spotlight bar had the original price tag on £59.99
, paid £4.99. Our shed is now nicely full :rotfl:
