hi all i have heard that there is a mortgage available where you go in with your dad or other family members. Well we was thinking ,i currently earn around 20 000 a year i would need around 90 000 mortgage at least but i have bad credit so mortgage companies wont risk taking me on as its nearly 5 time my wage with bad credit . My dad will do anything to help me out and finding out my girlfriend is pregnant with our second child we really need to get on track. I have been offered a job earning 30 grand a year but still dont think the mortgage companies will take me one due to my bad credit so if i was to get a joint mortgage with my dad will his credit rating come into account. I can pay the mortgage just dont think i can get one at the moment due to my poor credit. Do many mortgage companies do this any help or advice appericated thanks very much

it may not be the income multiple that gets you but the level of deposit.
What deposit do you have?
Will the job you go to have a probationary period?
Is it in the same line of work?
