ice cream maker

Its a friends birthday coming up at the end of the week and she had mentioned ages ago she fancied an ice cream maker and I know she hadn't got round to getting one....so in the spirit of money saving I thought this would be perfect for her pressie.

Can anyone give me any recommendations for a machine.

    i ordered one off the boots.com site, they have it on sale at mo .. a kenwood makes 1.1ltrs... discounted price, boots points etc makes it around £15 ish...

    Ended up going for a Kenwood one from Debenhams. Had a presale voucher so was able to get it from £30 to £22.50...I know it was £29.99 in argos too. Hope she likes it anyway. Thanks for the suggestions...
