Cost of replacing conservatory poly roof with solid

We are considering replacing the polycarbonate roof on our conservatory with a lightweight solid roof to keep it cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
Can anyone who has done this tell us about their experience and some idea of the cost (which obviously depends on the size)?

Its brilliant - work done very professionally in less than 2 full days. Mine is 4 metres by 3 metres and cost £3950. I then recommended the company to a friend who wanted hers done and hers is a bit bigger and the cost was £3950 so I would suggest that most average sized conservatories are £3950!! Both jobs were very professionally done and my friend is probably more fussy and demanding than me.
