Question - send in a sealed envelope?

Hi All,

Quick (probably silly) newbie question: If contest states to send postal votes in a sealed envelope, do you still put it on a postcard inside said envelope or just on a piece of paper?

Just put your answer (where required), name and address or phone number (whichever it asks for) on the back of the envelope :-)

I use either, depending on what I have to hand. As a rule it's best to enter exactly as the competition asks you to.

For example, the Express newspaper comps have changed to entries inside an envelope recently due to data protection because they now ask for more info than they used to.
