I'm thinking of splashing out on an 'Aldi Premium Breadmaker' (49.99). Has anyone bought one and can tell me whether it is ok? Thanks Guys.

I had a breadmaker, can't remember the make, and gave it away because I didn't like the bread it made. I used the recipes in the booklet which came with it but whichever recipe used the bread always had a strange texture, almost like a sponge. When dancing with dragons, don't let your partner lead.0

I have worn out a few breadmakers in my humble opion is its not so much the brand of the machine that makes decent bread, but the recipe for the bread. I have always used the same recipe across all the breadmakers I have owned. Without a problem.Sealed pot challenge member 4370

I have never found any details about it on their website or in the small print of documentation but it is mentioned quite a bit on the consumer rights forum.0
