Aldi Premium Breadmaker?

I'm thinking of splashing out on an 'Aldi Premium Breadmaker' (49.99). Has anyone bought one and can tell me whether it is ok? Thanks Guys.

I had a breadmaker, can't remember the make, and gave it away because I didn't like the bread it made. I used the recipes in the booklet which came with it but whichever recipe used the bread always had a strange texture, almost like a sponge.

I have worn out a few breadmakers in my humble opion is its not so much the brand of the machine that makes decent bread, but the recipe for the bread. I have always used the same recipe across all the breadmakers I have owned. Without a problem.

I bought one of these last year and it has been a nice machine, made some lovely loaves with it.

I believe the 3 year guarantee is operated on a sliding scale so if you return after the first year and they can't replace or fix it then you would not get the full cost of what you paid.
I have never found any details about it on their website or in the small print of documentation but it is mentioned quite a bit on the consumer rights forum.
