I have a car port which is sagging a bit in the middle. It's not a serious problem yet but I am looking into options. A piece of angle iron about 6-7 metres long would be good - but where could I get something like that?
Thanks

A piece of angle iron that long would also sag if not supported. Also I don't know if AA is available that long, welding end to end would leave a weak point.I am not a cat (But my friend is)0

I don't really know anything about angle iron, maybe an I beam or an H Beam - a small RSJ. I think they can be quite small but the size will depend on the application. The car port is supported (I would have said adequately but maybe not quite adequately so just needs a bit of shoring up).0
