Hello all
I'm hoping someone can help me out, I have my own business and have had it for just over a year. I have no accounts yet, my wife works for the NHS and earns 25K.
The house we like is £270K, I can provide 50K deposit through the sale of another property.
The payments work out to be around £1500 per month.
Would self cert be the way to go and if so any recomendations?
Thanks

That really depends what your earnings are. If you have sufficient profit but not the track record yet, then that could be a way forward. If you've not got the earnings then a self cert loan is no different to any other mortgage0

Same here with The Mortgage Business http://www.t-m-b.co.uk . I think they are part of the HBOS group. My broker suggested them, they've been fine. I don't know whether they only take business through brokers or not.0

best thing for self cert is to go through a broker as a large range of self certs require a broker introduction. BM Solutions or Accord for example.0
