Refilling a bean bag bed?

25 Kg of Gitdog have well and truly flattened the beads in his bed. I've found the refill beans but the liner to put them in seems really flimsy for a heavy footed dog. I need to put the beans in something so I can take them out to wash the bed without them flying around and covering the walls and ceiling. The only other idea I've had is old pillow cases or duvet cover - do you think that would work?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Is the outer waterproof, or is muck likely to seep through? If so, you'll want a waterproof liner for the beans to keep them clean. You can buy waterproof fabric fairly cheaper if you're any good at sewing - essentially you'd just be sewing a completely closed 'pillowcase' type thing, fairly simple (and no need to worry about neatness if it's inside the case most of the time)
  • I have used an old duvet cover and this worked fine. Getting the beads into the duvet cover is another matter! - Best be on standby with the hoover.

And in 5 years' time you will still find the odd bead clinging to something or lurking under the sofa. (Our son had a giant teddybear which was stuffed partly with these beads... and it had a zip...)

Hi Elsien _ Gitdog strikes again !!!
An easy solution is to use a drawstring cotton laundry bag if you don't sew . Keep the beads in the bag they came in and pour carefully into the laundry bag . Leave enough space to be able to mould the bag into place and tie very tightly .
Laundry bags can be picked up very cheaply and are also on Am*z*n .
He obviously hasn't forgotten the kennels :D
