Capquest Statute Barred

Options
Hi All,

Does registering on the Capquest website restart any statute barred debt? I have received a letter this morning chasing an account owed to Arrow Global, who I have never heard of. The letter says to see more details I need to log on to the Capquest portal, which I am reluctant to do.

Any help gratefully received!

Many thanks.

The answer is no, but I don't see why they can't put full details in the letter.

If 'registering' involves giving a phone number or something they don't already have , then I'd just send a prove-it letter.

This is the right advice, just make sure you don't give them any info they don't already have.

Found the prove it letter, will send by recorded delivery today. I read something that said I shouldn't sign it, is this the case?

    Thanks again!

Bit of an urban myth - people get nervous about dodgy debt collectors 'lifting' a signature on to an agreement.

    Personally I'd sign
