  • Afternoon everyone, Thanks for all your help, I have done it, god I was so scared they would turn me down but I now have a 0% and I have transferred by balance from card one to it. I have done my snowball calculation and looks like if nothing else changes I will be debt free in 26 months. It is going to be so hard but I will then have £1200 a month to buy my second property and save for the future. I am hoping that one the transfer is complete that card one might offer my a balance transfer so I can move some of if not all of the £17K balance to a cheaper rate. I have set up to pay minimum on the new card and then £1100 on the higher rate card. I am so pleased I received that letter yesterday about the reduction in my limit because it has prompted me to deal with this once and for all.

Thanks for the 30, 30, 30 advice enjoyourshoes's I have a spreadsheet now with the amounts of all accounts. I also have a bit of an emergency fund which I am considering using to pay toward the £17k but it's only £1k and I am scared it might be a bad idea.

Feeling so much better today so thanks everyone.
