is it ok to use biological washing powder to wash baby clothes? i have always been told that i should use non-bio, but i am really trying to watch the pennies as my 2nd baby will be here very soon!
if it is ok to use, can anyone recommend which brand? are the cheap supermarket brands ok to use?
thanks in advance

No, a baby's skin is very sensitive. I'd say it's not worth the risk for the little you'd save.
There are other ways of saving on your washing bills though. Look up ecoballs for example.
EDIT: Forgot to say Good Luck with the new baby!0 -
I used non bio for the first 2 years with my 2. Always own brand though. Tesco non bio 2 in 1 is fine.0

Biological washing powder is really bad for the environment. When it is pumped into the water supply it kills all of the micro-organisms which support life.
You don't need to go for cheapo washing powder as you can get away with using minimal amounts of powder whilst washing. You just need to get the stuff into the machine daily before the stains get a chance to set.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
