I notice now that the OP has just posted (post 545) https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5367287I phoned up and a nice gentlemen was very helpful. Got my letter woth qualifying years and amount, didn't realise you get extra for pension being opted out. Too 2 weeks to arrive. Very pleased with the service I had
so I assume that the 2017 date has been confirmed.
However, I am now wondering whether she understands that there is a deduction from NSP in respect of contracting out ( if contracting out - rather than opting out - is what she means?
