Shampoo and conditioner (very hard water area)

I recently moved to an area with VERY hard water. Bought a water filter for drinking water
and invested in copious amount of E45 for my dry skin!
My hair has gone awful though. I used to use tiny amounts of Simple shampoo and cheap conditioner.
I have long, fine and curly hair hence the Simple almost co-washing technique but I need to re-think
Any suggestions?

There did used to be a range sold in larger Boots and places like HQ Hair, Look Fantastic, Feel Unique...etc but I've no experience so can't say if they worked or not. The products are far from cheap but are designed to work for whatever water area you live in.
Failing that, you could always fit a water filter for your shower (this is possible but just not cheap). I live in a very hard water area and hate how it affects my skin and scalp but it isn't something I'm able to do anything about so I've just tried to change what I use and how many times I wash my hair to compensate as much as I can. Moisturising conditioner and cleansing shampoo with a serum leave-in. I like to think that this helps the lime settling and hardening on my hair and scalp though occasionally it's helpful to do a deep cleansing wash and then a masque to moisturise. Any itch issues on my scalp and I use a designated scalp remedy shampoo - there are quite a few brands who offer this sort of product across the price budget range to my mind and this seems to help0 -
Change you shampoo and look for a good shampoo that condition your hair. You can also try some homemade remedies like Mix 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar with 1 qt. of distilled water. First shampoo your hair and rinse well. Apply the mixture, leave on for a few seconds, and rinse with cold water. A vinegar rinse will not only remove buildup from your hair, but also give it bounce and shine.0

I also live in a hard water area and use a clarifying shampoo and deep conditioner once a week
Daily i use various different things but my hair is coarse and curly so what i use might be too heavy for your hair but my favourite conditioner is Yes to Carrots"I am an insomniac, so I was really excited when I was able to get a full night's sleep. I said to a friend, 'Just keep your fingers crossed that I get lucky again tonight!' Realizing what I said, I tried to correct it and said, 'No, I mean, I just hope that I get some tonight!' After that, I decided to shut up."0
