hi guys
i have a current account with tsb and also a loan and overdraft also as well as a credit card all is in order with regard to payments except one late c card payment earlier this year. i went into bank and complained about my risk rating they had set it at 9 and they wasnt able to tell me why so i wrote to brighton and have not had a positive response in 10 wks they just keep sending letters saying i can contact fso and complain with regard to delay.
can anyone tell me are they likely to get funny with me if i do contact fso and will i be compensated for the delay... iam really considering shutting this account down as they have just reduced my limit on my card by £2300 and i dont see why and they wont tell me either...i have enough money going in each month £1400...they are just arrogant over phone i am thinking of balance transfer for c card....regards paul

I found TSB were the same with me. The call centres were all in Brunei or somewhere and they found it hard to understand my problems.
The staff were useless too! I had a £500 overdraft and was into it by £498, they put an overdraft charge on it, which took me over by a few quid, then charged me £30 for being over my overdraft.
I went in complaining to a manager, who said he would do some "behind the scenes work on my account" and that I should come back in 4 weeks to see him. So I did, but he'd left...
With bills getting higher and higher, I had no choice but to do an IVA, much to my delight the TSB lost out and go !!!!!! all of my £500 overdraft back!
I'm now with a nice bank who have call centres in the UK...0 -
Lloyds-TSB are next to useless I've had compensation from them and they admitted their poor service to me - but it still continues so I have taken my complaint to the FOS. They are aware of this (fax'd/special delivery letters etc) but it has made no difference to the way they treat me.
When they did send a final response via their complaints procedure they more or less admitted that their collections centre in Brighton couldn't cope with mail!
Apart from that they're great!0
