Feed in tariff payments

Options
Due to a faulty inverter, the readings on our generation meter stopped moving forward. Our inverter was finally replaced after a long time. As such, we did not receive any Feed in tariff payments during this time as we were not able to submit readings.

1) was energy still being exported to our power company during the time we were not submitting readings?

2) is there any way that we can claim any feed in tariff payments that we have lost during this period?

The faulty inverter almost certainly stopped working so nothing was generated. There's no mechanism in the FIT scheme for paying for non-generation !

You may however have some sort of claim against your installer if their warranty guarantees a certain amount of generation but I suspect that would be unusual.
