Cooling off period

Hi, just wondering if estate agents have a cooling off period? We've just recently signed a contract with the express estate agents to sell our house. I wasn't keen as reviews were very touch and go but we aren't in a rush to sell and even though we believed they'd over valued our property thought we weren't losing anything by trying to sell with them.
Anyway the agent who came to value took photos with his own camera on the day and said if they weren't good enough a professional would come to retake them which happened today. However, I noticed earlier today that they'd already listed the property on their website and rightmove using the original photographs which are absolutely terrible. They have also given a wrong description plus haven't even sent us a copy of the contract we signed which was promised to be sent by email the day we signed it.
They have been contacted and are meant to phone tomorrow so I'm hoping they sort it but in the meantime I've been trying to find out if we are in our rights to cancel the contract with them through a cooling off period, just in case it isn't sorted. Tomorrow will be 7 days from signing the contract.
Thank you

Where did you sign the contract?

Hi, thank you. It was signed in our home and I did eventually find something last night on the property ombudsman website that stated we do have a 14 day cooling off period so that's a relief.
Thank you for the link you've also sent, much appreciated.0 -
Ten minutes reseach on Rightmove ought to have shown you all you need to know about that particular agency.
Of course, being a national franchise, they do vary somewhat, but your experience looks likely to be quite typical.0
