Was wondering if anyone would have an idea how much it would cost to have a new consumer unit fitted- ball park obviously!!

I'm in the NW and have had 2 fitted in last 12 months - £450 each. I had a few quotes around that price so seemed about right for my area0

As flashg67 says that is pretty standard for a distribution board in a domestic premises, but remember that other works may be necessary on your installation whilst doing this which could increase the price.0

£450 seems expensive. The stuff should be around around £100 with about a half days work included a full retest say £200. But it will be specific to the house depending on earthing system etc.0
