I'm finally knuckling down with my credit report and am so far complaining to various payday loan companies for irresponsible lending.
I was wondering whether anyone had complained to Littlewoods? I have a (settled) default on my account from them. The loan was taken out on an item costing approx £350 and I was working PT at the time, taking home approx £330 a month.
I didn't keep up repayments and the interest accumulated until I defaulted in 2012, with a debt of £511. By this date, I had got a FT job taking home approx £900 after tax, but my credit history shows that I had to take out numerous payday loans in 2011 & 2012. I borrowed money to make a lump sum payment to Littlewoods, leaving £200 outstanding, which I arranged a £30 per month (from memory) payment plan. This debt was finally paid off in 2013.
All I really want is for this to be removed from my credit file. Has anyone complained / had any success with Littlewoods using the same process as the payday loans complaints? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I've complained and recieved a letter but still had no response from them regarding how they intend to resolve the issue.
gave me £1000 credit limits I fell behind by 2 payments had to setup an agreement which shows on my report still continued to lend to me had to phone and write lots of letters for them to just shutdown my accounts with them.0 -
How long has the process taken so far?0

When was the loan taken out?Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220

The loan was taken out in 2010.0

If the payday loans were taken out AFTER the Littlewoods loan I am not sure how Littlewoods lent irresponsibly. The same may apply to the payday loans. If they were taken out before you defaulted the companies could argue that they were not irresponsible.
Were there other debts that they could have known about.Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220 -
