I've just picked one of these up instore. It says that once you sign up you will receive:
- emails featuring book reviews, news on the latest titles and competitions to read and review books before they are published.
- exlusive cardholder offers on selected books
- invitations to exclusive shopping events
- free copies of Waterstone's Books Quarterly magazine when you visit our shops
- double points and bonus poits on books by some of your favourite authors.

I've just signed up for this as well. It says 3 points per £1 you spend, but I can't find anywhere what the points equate to when it comes to redeeming them. For example, not much use if each point equals 1p! The website doesn't mention this anywhere.0

it is... each point is a penny,
basically smiths would give you 1% back waterstones is 3%Yes Your Dukeiness

They are doing special Christmas shopping evenings for the holders of this card, most seem to be tonight or next Thursday. Doesn't say what you get, but I would hope for some discounts and may be some drinks/nibbles :-)
