If the mobile is just for you it's expensive, if that's 2 contracts it's OK
Do you really need Sky TV? A lot of it is on freeview & the stuff that isn't you can download
Presents seems very high~ I only spend £40 on immediate family, £20 on the others
    Mortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0
    Cashback sites: £900 | £30k in 2016: £30,300 (101%)

With sky I'm tied into contract atm though will def look at cutting it out once that's up; currently I'm paying £9.99 line rental and unlimited calls, £5 for unlimited broadband and £21.50 for the HD family tv package. Need to crunch numbers though as line rental, calls and Internet are all discounted because I have the tv package; for £36ish does someone else offer a better package?

Presents wise I know this needs to come down a fair chunk, perils of coming from a large family there and my partner seems to like to go overboard so I do feel obliged to spend roughly the same

    Thanks again for the comments

I did phone and haggle, full package should be £69 a month but I got it reduced to the £21.50 which is the same as I'd pay for basic. Is it worth calling again?

True, shall give that a go then. Home and contents insurance has now been reduced to £78.63 for the year which I've paid in 1 go so that will help hopefully :)

Do you actually have £956 leftover at the end of the month?

If not, keep a spending diary for a month and make a note of everything to see where the extra is going.

If you have that left over then you will be free of your CC debt in two months, great if you can then chip away £1000 a month off your mortgage.

Although this is a money saving site if you have the money, can afford it and enjoy it there is no reason for you to cancel sky or spend less on presents, as long as you are meeting your payments and reducing your debt you don't have to go without other things.

I have a spending tracker spreadsheet :) this month is a bit less as I've paid for my last unit of CeMAP but generally yes; not all of it stays in cash though I do pay into an investment ISA and private pension which I've just realised I missed off the SOA oops

No Tallyhoh I have no children, this is WTC
If your partner has a job then surely that would take you out of the WTC threshold? You really don't want an overpayment.
