Mad Mad Sales at George

I have just been to the George in Altrincham and they had sale racks full of stuff for a £1 or £2. I noticed that they had kids and women's but I never looked for men's stuff but I should imagine that they will have those too.

Sorry if this is a repost but I thought it too good to take a chance.

Its mainly summer stuff but hey a bargain is a bargain.

I picked up a pair of shoes for my daugter today, they had no tag on, when I got to the till the assistant was gushing over the shoes saying her neice would like a pair etc, anyway when she manually put the code in they came up £1.00. the sales assisstant clearly didn't want me to have the shoes as she kept retyping the code in saying there must be a mistake!!! After 5 attempts she relented that they must be £1.00 but she was clearly gutted!!!

Fantastic Amelia'smummy! I love it when that happens. I once took a Chinese noodle bowl for two to the tills expecting to pay £12. It came up as £2 and the lady said that there was obviously a mistake but because it came up as £2 then she had to let me have it for £2.

its great when that happens. i got 2 car air fresheners, the £2 plus ones from the reduced section.yet they had no price on,asked the man on till to check the price, and they came up 2p.YES 2p.he scanned it a few times,thninking it was wrong,but when he scanned the second one and that came up 2p as well,he had to concede it must be 2p.well chuffed that day
