I don't think you mean order of service- that's in church with the hymns etc.

Do people really need a card telling them the standard order of events? B and SiL had blackboards with it written on

Can't you make your own in Publisher? Though I don't really know what you mean? The order of service is just for the service itself, do people really need to be told more?

You probably mean wedding reception order, that can easily be done in Publisher.

Just choose an A5 layout, add your text and whatever image you want. These can be printed onto A5 card.

I just typed mine on A4 and when I printed it I selected print two pages on one sheet and it came out in booklet format. Really easy to do.

Never see one done at an actual wedding. Isn't the order of the day always the same so people know what to expect.

Not sure I follow, " Isn't the order of the day always the same"

everyones days are different, I just wanted them to put in room guests bags so they knew what was happening during the day

Well so long as people know when the wedding starts it's just followed by the reception, same format to all I've been at. But it should be easy to do if you can use publisher.
