Starts mid-June.
Has anyone found any incredible bargains in the past? I'm interested in electronics, particularly Apple devices.

IMO unless you are after a particular product they so happen to use as a loss leader, it's a fairly average clearance with most things being still above the norm for what you can get from other places (eg cutlery, duvets, beauty, clothing...etc). It's luck of the draw really because yes there are bargains, but they are very few and far between and they usually go fast, so unless you know what you are looking for and know the discount is a decent one, it's an OK sale but not amazing and things can be found cheaper elsewhere. Yes you get better quality and customer service, but it depends what's a bigger issue for you; your bank balance or a day out/afternoon at a keyboard in the mad rush of a sale.
Works both ways though, if you know what your looking for it's likely that you had an interest in the first place which means you are less likely to buy something just because it's on offer and more likely to buy what you previously had been looking to purchase.
Just wish they reduced their homeware more!0 -

John Lewis clearance is fab- if you like JL products. It is a real sale- the discontinued goods get continually discounted until they get to about 80% off. Amazing bargains usually- but it goes on line well before the advertised time. Lots of branded goods but very limited supplies. Winter sale is much better than summer. 50% off isn't unusual at the start but limited stocks. The also have a lot of sale special buys-often basics- which I avoid unless they end up further reduced.
For apple etc the best time is black friday- JL price match as well and often have a 3 year warranty.June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550
October challenge £100 a day. £385/£31000 -
Good for baby stuff too.0
