Tesco are selling Chateau De La Botiniere Muscadet sevre et Maine sur lie half-price at £3-25 per bottle in my local Tesco. It is part of a 'reduced to clear' offers on wine. Tesco's own-brand Muscadet was also reduced to just under £3 but I went for the Sur Lie as it was less than 50p more expensive and is a much better wine.
It is also a 2015 Decanter Gold World Wine award winner.
Not sure if this is nationwide or is just in my local Tesco.

I like Muscadets but they remind me of the early 1980s (think gooey cheeseboard with Philadelphia, crackers and grapes) and seem to have been overtaken somewhat by Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay over the last couple of decades. Not to mention the red wine brigade.
Worth dipping into again at this price.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
