Thanks, Bluebella, i'll have a break from comping i think, until i can get a new phone0

My comping phone is an ancient basic pay as you go. You can pick them up for under a tenner, or probably get one for nothing on freecycle if you ask. Could you not just put your SIM card into something like that? Many thanks to everyone who posts competitions and works so hard to provide all the answers!

Lots don't require a phone number and I have probably only been notified by phone about once for every hundred or so wins.0

This ^^^^ :T
Hopefully you'll get it sorted soon, GeeBee38, or at least be able to use a 'pre-loved' handset from a friend or family member (as purple45 suggested above) until you get a new phone
You'd really only need to worry about those comp entries that ONLY ask for a name & telephone number=^._.^= You will always be lucky if you know how to make friends with strange cats =^._.^=0 -
My comping mobile cost £12 from Asda

Three years of comping and a yeair few wins every year, I have only been phoned twice. Once was for cash and the other for tickets.
You could just enter the email only ones like mentioned above0 -
Just be aware that if you are a customer with Three and you put your SIM into a no-frills, 2G only phone, a) you're not likely to not get a signal in a lot of places now, and b) Three will ask you to place your SIM into a 3G(/4G) phone as per their terms and conditions which allows them to stop the SIM from working.0
