Epson/Epson compatible inkjet cartridge recycling-get paid for empty cartridges

I use Epson compatible/generic cartridges and scoured the net to find somewhere to recycle them. I think I found somewhere who will also give you 5p per empty cartridge

If anyone knows anywhere else that will accept these make of cartridges PLEASE let me know, I'm not worried about getting paid I just would rather not dump my cartridges into landfill but if I get paid then that's a bonus!
at the top of the list it says "all others". I use Epson compatible cartridges NOT Epson ones, I assume "All Others" means exactly what it says?
I'm going to ring them on Monday to double check though.
As I said before, anyone know of any other places that will take them?

Tesco run a cartridge recycling scheme, you can get the FREEPOST envelopes in-store and send the carts off for recycling by post with clubcard points awarded for eligible cartridges.
The envelopes state that all cartridges sent in will be recycled but clubcard points will only be awarded for Lexmark/HP/Canon cartridges.0 -
Thanks Poet, please keep us updated on this. I too have tried to find a place to recycle Epson or even Epson compatible cartridges to no avail.
I think it has to do with the chip in the cartridgeIf freedom is outlawed, only outlaws will have freedom.0 -
Go here: www.eco-office-supplies.co.uk
They recycle epson cartridges and give money to SENSE. If you email them and ask nicely they'll even send you freepost bags to put them in :-)
They sell very cheap cartridges as well! :-)Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -
I sent some cartridges off to a company earlier in the year.
Big list of cartridges and how much they pay.
It might be the one in the OPs link... heard nothing for months
Then a letter comes: I've got a credit with them to buy ink cartridges.
Great. I don't actually have a printer any more!
I was expecting about £12-16 in cash/cheque0 -
Just looked it up, I think I actually sent mine here:
http://www.cartex.co.uk/cgi-bin/empty_inkjet_cartridges.asp
Which I can now see clearly says credit, not cash.0
