Changing Date of Default

Hello again everyone

So I have a debt that was originally with Egg, then moved to Barclaycard and is now owned by PRA Group. I am putting in a CCA request in the morning in the hope that evidence of unenforceability will make my position stronger when negotiating a F&F payment.

In the meantime, I've had a look at the details of the debt on Noddle. It says the default was in June 2014 which is two years after the debt was included in the list CCCS were helping me with. Another debt from that list (an overdraft) shows that the default was March 2012.

So I'm planning to write asking them to change the default date but I'm wondering...

1. Will they be able to do it since they didn't have control of the debt back in 2012?
2. Is an email from CCCS setting out my plan going to be enough evidence? (I don't have the default notice).
3. Is it possible I'm wrong and the default could have been at a later date?

Thanks in advance!
