    I have sorted this out and I'm now transferring 1 pensions and leaving 2 others that have penalties.


    One of the ones I'm leaving also has a benefit (enhanced lump sum dur to A-day rules).
    When I asked about "guaranteed benefits" they said none and I had to go back to them (as my advisor had also looked) and they said "ah - yes there's a benefit but it's not guaranteed".


    This does annoy me that you have to become well-versed in the right terms to get the answers you want. This is why I was trying to get the right terminology from you guys.


    But I have got there in the end and I'm transferring one of them.
